The scourging heat of the sun and the sound of our hungry pets inside our tummy lead us to the streets of Daraga, Albay. The path we are taking was not familiar add up the fact that it’s a residential lot. I was starting to believe that we will end up going to Metro Gaisano. We were looking for an old house that serves lunch. The place as they say is full of antique materials.
When we were about to give up, a man passed by and to our astonishment we were already two blocks away. Upon entering the said eatery, we were in awe. The place brought us back to our grandparent’s time. The furniture’s are old, the paintings and pictures of the sceneries before were hang properly. It was really refreshing and it was really close to home --- Balay Cena Una.
Look how simple the building is. J

We also tried the palatable food they serve. Of course who wouldn’t. Right?

But really there best attraction was their place. Especially the dining place with the antique setting.

Their spacious and relaxing garden with this old yet very comfortable bench.
The fascinating collection of photos of the OLD ALBAY.
Who says OLD IS NOT IN? I declare that OLD STUFF are worth collecting and my fascination with old furniture will still keep on burning!.
